Privacy policy

How taxigo collects, uses and protects the personal data linked to a booking.

This document is provided for information purposes. It is pending review by legal counsel and may be updated accordingly.

Data controller

The controller for the personal data collected through this site is Consultly SRL, with its registered office at Lambroekstraat 5A, 1831 Diegem, Belgium.

Data collected

When you book a ride, taxigo collects the customer's name, email address and phone number, the pickup and destination addresses, and, for company billing, the company's name, address and VAT number.

Purpose of processing

This data is used to organise and carry out the booked ride, to issue the corresponding invoice or receipt, and to comply with Belgian accounting obligations, which require billing data to be kept for 7 years.

Subprocessors

taxigo uses subprocessors to run the service: Stripe for online payment, Supabase for database hosting within the European Union (Frankfurt), Resend for sending transactional emails, Google Maps Platform for resolving addresses and calculating routes, Vercel for hosting the site and for cookieless audience measurement, and Sentry for technical error reporting (page addresses, with no identifier and no form data).

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have a right of access, rectification, erasure, portability and objection over your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact: info@taxigo-brussels.be

Cookies

The site uses only technical cookies, necessary for it to function properly (for example, remembering your chosen language). No tracking or advertising cookies are used. The audience measurement in place uses no cookies and writes nothing to your device: visitors are counted using a technical fingerprint recomputed every day, which cannot follow you from one day to the next.

Measuring where bookings come from

To know which pages and which campaigns lead to bookings, taxigo records, alongside each booking, the first page you viewed during your visit, the domain name of the referring site and, when they appear in the page address, the campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign) as well as the Google advertising click identifier (gclid). Nothing is written to or read from your device for this measurement: no cookie, no local storage. These items are read from the address of the page you are viewing, held in memory only for the duration of your visit, and sent to the server solely at the moment you confirm a booking. Neither your IP address, nor your browser, nor the full address of the referring site is recorded for this purpose, and no tracking takes place between visits. The legal basis is taxigo's legitimate interest in measuring the effectiveness of its communication (Article 6.1.f GDPR); you may object at the address given above. The advertising click identifier is erased after 90 days and all of this information after 13 months, independently of the accounting retention of the invoice.
